Label checks
- Read the full ingredient list, and note any ingredient you already know irritates you.
- Check warnings, directions and the net quantity.
- Treat words such as hypoallergenic as seller wording. The US FDA states it has no formal process for deciding which products qualify for that claim.
- If a product claims to treat a condition, it may be regulated differently from a cosmetic. Be cautious and check the maker details.
- Check expiry or period-after-opening information, and whether the seller states the maker and country.
- If you have a skin condition, allergy or are pregnant, ask a doctor or pharmacist before trying a new product.

- কোনো রোগ বা সমস্যা সারানোর দাবি থাকলে পণ্যটি কসমেটিকের চেয়ে ভিন্নভাবে নিয়ন্ত্রিত হতে পারে। সতর্ক থাকুন এবং প্রস্তুতকারকের তথ্য দেখুন।
- মেয়াদ বা খোলার পর ব্যবহারের সময়সীমা এবং প্রস্তুতকারক ও উৎস দেশের তথ্য আছে কি না দেখুন।
- ত্বকের সমস্যা, অ্যালার্জি বা গর্ভাবস্থায় নতুন পণ্য ব্যবহারের আগে চিকিৎসক বা ফার্মাসিস্টের পরামর্শ নিন।
